Coach Bram Fowler

Bram Fowler started rowing at the age of 12 in South Africa, for Parktown Boy’s High. He went on to row for the defense team and was selected to the National team training camp. He coached his old high school crew to a national championship.

In 1994 Bram joined the Lake Brantley Rowing Association and coached the men’s lightweight program to their first National title. Over the next four years LBRA won many state and National Championships, they also won the overall states points’ trophy in 1998.

Coach Fowler was elected to the presidency of the FSRA and served for four years running the state championship regattas and overseeing the general regulations of the sport.

Bram coached the ORC woman and men’s eights and in 2007 re joined LBRA to start their middle school program and ran that for two years.
